Director’s message
Welcome to the website of the Institute of Law and Political Science at Morsli Abdellah University Center. The institute has been in operation since 2013-2014 academic year and currently offers training and teaching in various disciplines of the law department In the first phase – Bachelor’s degree – (Public Law and Private Law), in the second phase – Master’s degree – (State and Public Institutions, Business Law – Criminal Law), and in the third phase – Doctorate PHD – (State and Institutions, Business Law, Real Estate Law, Contracts and Liability, Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences).
The entire Institute family, including the Director of the Institute, Vice-Directors, Department Heads, head of the Scientific Council, Field Officer, Division Officer, Specialization Officers, head of the Doctoral Training Committee, Department Heads, and all Institute employees, are honored to serve the student and ensure effective and fruitful supervision, guidance, control, and coordination, in order to achieve the highest quality service and a more stimulating atmosphere for training and scientific research at the Institute.

About the Institute
The Institute of Law and Political Science at the University Center of Tipaza has been established by Executive Decree No. 11/302 of August 22, 2011 (22 Ramadan 1432), which created the University Center of Tipaza. The 2013/2014 academic year marked the effective launch of the Institute. Its mission is to provide higher education and research in the field of law, offering both theoretical and practical training. The Institute also plays an active role in fostering and advancing scientific research.
Specialties
The Institute is dedicated to education and scientific research in the fields of Law and Political Science. It offers high-quality training at the undergraduate level through two main specialties:
• Public Law: Focused on regulating relationships in which the state or one of its institutions is a party, whether at the national or international level.
• Private Law: Concerned with governing the rights and obligations that arise between individuals within society. It defines the legal rights and duties of persons across the various types of activities and interactions that connect them.
Objectives
The Law program aims to strengthen students’ academic knowledge while developing their capacity for legal reasoning—an essential tool for maintaining order and safeguarding the interests of society.
Mission of the Institute
The Institute is entrusted with the task of providing education and conducting research in the fields of Law and Political Science. Its programs combine both theoretical foundations and practical applications, ensuring comprehensive training in these disciplines.
Academic Programs
The Institute offers both undergraduate and postgraduate training within the LMD system (Bachelor–Master–Doctorate).
–Undergraduate level (Bachelor’s degree) : A three-year program leading to the award of Bachelor’s degree in Law.
–Master’s level : Graduates may pursue a two-year Master’s program, subject to specific conditions and the programs available each academic year.
–Doctoral level : Postgraduate studies include the Doctorate (third cycle), accessible through a competitive examination organized by the Institute in line with the annual program offerings.
